The Shadow Walker

Just a brief addendum to the posting below to let you know that today is the official release date for the new US mass market edition of The Shadow Walker.  Available in all good bookshops and, I hope, quite a few not-so-good ones too.

And I'll be back with some more substantive posts very shortly.  Promise.

Hastening to wish you 'good luck' - although I've yet to get to know your Mongolian detective (soon to be remedied). Fascinated by Mongolia, the more so since Nice hosted an exhibition of Mongolian Buddhist art in Nov '09: a luscious visual feast. Also the film of Tim Cope's epic journey was recently shown on tv; again, instructive.
So agree with your earlier post (when hosting Crime Carnival in '08) that crime fiction can inform, and often doesn't shy away from contemporary concerns, problems or politics. Great stuff!

Thanks for the kind words, Minnie - hope you enjoy the book. Having just looked at your very interesting looking blog, I must say, as I sit here in chilly Cheshire, I envy your location!

Reciprocal gratitude from this end, Michael - and, if it's any consolation, the weather on the Cote is very far from azureen!

Oh, well - I'm sure there's better to come. Actually the weather here is very bright - but very cold!

Hi Michael, have tried several times to comment on other posts with no luck: the darn thing insists I sign in completely (from scratch) every time, and then points out an error in the anti-spam character box - which then effectively locks me out. I tried x 5 earlier. I wonder how much tenacity you expect of your readers?!

Hello, Minnie - sorry for the difficulties you've had. I wasn't aware of a problem (though there clearly is one, as I've just encountered it myself!), but thanks for letting me know. I'll try to find out what's going on and get it rectified. Sorry again for the inconvenience - but please do come back once I've got the problem sorted!

Will do, Michael - and thank you!
PS If no luck, recommend you set up a WordPress blog & transfer all posts to the new one (easy-peasy: even I managed this ... ;-)).

Thanks, Minnie - and thanks for sticking around! Funnily enough, I've been thinking for a little while about moving the blog to a different platform. So watch this space...
